This year's IFFS Europe, taking place April 15-16, 2008, at The Cumberland Hotel in London, will have industry leaders discussing the latest trends in funding and sponsorship, programming, operations and management, publicity and public relations, acquisition and distribution, technology solutions, long-term planning and sustainable growth, and executive management.

News: Geoff Gilmore, Director of the Sundance Film Festival has been confirmed to present the Keynote Address on Wednesday 16 April. This promises to be an exciting and informative presentation where attendees will have the opportunity to hear from one of the world's most accomplished festival directors. Hear perspective on festival trends, the state of independent film and where the festival community is headed. Geoffrey Gilmore is the Director of the Sundance Film Festival, a position he has occupied for the last 19 years, and is responsible for the film selection in all sections of the Festival, as well as overseeing the overall artistic direction of the Festival and general Festival management. In addition, Gilmore is a programming consultant for Robert Redford and the Sundance Channel since its founding in 1996, for the Sundance Group, and for the recently created Sundance Film Series.
