Alchemy after launch
A FIRST FOR PRODUCERS
MORE than 50 of the Northwest’s leading TV and digital media producers have attended the launch of a unique multi platform strategy lab, which is set to pioneer a whole new way of working.
Northwest Vision + Media launched Alchemy, the region’s FIRST linked training and funding initiative, to develop new ways of creating and distributing content in the digital world.
At a reception held in Manchester, NWV+M’s Head of Funds, Chris Moll, told the potential Alchemy applicants the initiative would help to prepare them for a multiplatform commissioning environment.
“This is the first event of its kind in the Northwest, and we believe it will empower you to take advantage of the new opportunities for content which we’re currently experiencing,” said Chris.
The 16 companies eventually chosen to take part in Alchemy, will be introduced to a whole new way of working collaboratively. “And that is what the future is all about,” adds Chris.
