Northwest Vision and Media offers awards to film archives through the Heritage category of the 2008/2009 Heritage, Access to Film and Audience Development Fund (HAFAD).
The aim of the Heritage category is to find locations (or a centralised location) in the region for the presentation and storage of archived film and to ensure that there is a comprehensive service, wide distribution and accompanying educational programmes for users across the region.

Who can Apply?
To apply for HAFAD funds companies must:
- Be a legally constituted organisation with a written constitution or set of rules
- Operate from within the Northwest region of England (Cheshire, Cumbria, Greater Manchester, Lancashire and Merseyside)
- Have the necessary experience and track record to deliver projects that meet Northwest Vision and Media’s objectives for this fund (see guidelines)
- Be able to secure a minimum of 30% match funding
- Only apply for projects which commence after 1st April 2008 and end by 31st March 2009
When can I apply?
All awards for the Heritage, Access to Film and Audience
Development funding programme are made on an annual basis.
The deadline for 2008/2009 applications is 1pm, Monday 3rd December 2007.
