Casino Royale Chester Preview - November 2006
The Chester preview of the new 007 adventure ‘Casino Royale’ was a resounding success, bringing together an exclusive audience of Northwest stars and representatives from the creative industries.
Organised by North West Vision, BAFTA and regional partners, the night delivered a celebration of regional talent at Chester’s Odeon Cinema, which recently celebrated its 70th Birthday.
Alice Morrison, Chief Executive at North West Vision said:
“This has been excellent opportunity to highlight the region’s local talent pool and its great potential as a filmmaking destination. Daniel Craig was born in Chester and to have the new James Bond setting the example for aspiring individuals is absolutely fantastic.”
Recognisable faces attending the evening preview included various members of the Hollyoaks cast alongside Alan Halsall (Coronation Street), Dean Sullivan (Brookside) and members of Daniel Craig’s family including his father, Tim Craig.
Daniel Craig couldn’t make the event himself but sent the following message:
“"Hi, I'm sorry I can't be with you in Chester tonight. I
hope you enjoy this special Bafta preview and that you have a
wonderful evening."
