Cheshire and Warrington Film Office

Seven years after it was first formed, the Cheshire and Warrington Film Office
has relocated to the heart of Chester, with Film Liaison Officer, Emma Welland, convinced the move will help her to further promote the benefits of filming in the county.

“I’m now based within the Visit Chester and Cheshire offices, right next to Chester’s railway station, so I’m ideally placed for dealing with any TV or filming enquiries,” says Emma, who has seen production enquiries increase by 30 per cent since her appointment in 2006.

“On location, Cheshire and Warrington are very film friendly, with local councils offering full support to production companies,” adds Emma. “There are also so many hidden gems in the region, that I guarantee no-one will be disappointed if they make the decision to come and film here."
