What would you say were the best bits about the Northern Routes Training Scheme and your placement?
It was a really well structured placement that allowed me to experience different aspects of production, including location and studio work in drama and regional news.

Would you recommend Northern Routes to other potential trainees (please give reasons)?:
I would definitely recommend it to other trainees. It’s great experience in so many areas of production as well as a good opportunity to meet other trainees.

Please explain what you have gone on to do following Northern Routes:
After completing the scheme I went on to work with the same sound team on their next job Wuthering Heights.

What do you hope to do in the future and how has Northern Routes helped you in working towards this goal?
I hope to go on to work regularly as a sound assistant and then move on into boom operating in the future. Northern Routes has helped me to get the experience I need to work towards this and allowed me to meet people who can help me achieve my aim.
