Commissioning Conference 07

SUBSIDISED PLACES AT BROADCAST COMMISSIONING CONFERENCE

BROADCAST’S Commissioning Conference 2007 returns to Manchester on November 22nd, with Northwest Vision and Media offering 20 subsidised places for Northwest media companies.

For companies who have attended the conference in the past, there will be a subsidy of £200 towards registration costs, and for those companies who are new to the day we are offering £300 towards attendance for one person per company.

In a marketplace that’s becoming ever more competitive year-on-year, this sixth annual Conference is an ideal opportunity for industry professionals to:

· Uncover the top commissioners' immediate needs, long-term goals and hopes for the future of television programming
· Hear how the latest trends and technological advances will affect you and your plans for the coming years, and how the industry will change
· Have access to a comprehensive network of the most senior and influential names in TV all under one roof

In addition to channel overviews from the country’s leading Broadcasters, there’ll be in-depth discussions of genre specific commissioning trends, with the chance to pose questions direct to commissioners.

With speakers and panel members such as Simon Shaps, Director of Television, ITV, Jay Hunt, Director of Programmes, five, Andrew Newman, Head of Entertainment, Channel 4 and Nick Fraser, Commissioning Editor, Storyville, BBC, the day is guaranteed to deliver.

There’ll also be un-missable networking opportunities, with more than 200 delegates and speakers attending, including many of the most senior and influential figures from the broadcasting and independent production sectors.

Vision and Media will also be hosting a must-attend pre-conference comedy night on November 21, in preparation for what promises to be a sell-out industry event.

Whether you’re a producer, post-production house, or have a vested interest in what ideas the major channels are looking for on behalf of your
clients, the Broadcast Commissioning Conference is a must.
