radio
sector

pending
or RSL
- to
attend
a
series
of
five
training
nights
in
February-March
2008.
Delegates
may
come
to
all,
or
make a
selection.

Hang the DJ Presentation: Craft, personality and interviewing
February 26
Writing and Promotion: How to make your scripts connect and how to engage your listener
March 4
Practical Night: Open to those who have attended all four above - delivering a team effort.
The sessions will run for 45 minutes and include a 15 minute general Q&A at the end, with half an hour for networking. Attendees should arrive at the BBC on Oxford Road between 1800 and 1830 - sessions will start promptly at 1830.
There is no fee to attend. A pay bar will be available as the sessions will be taking place in the BBC Club. Parking is available at the public car park on Charles St. The sessions are open to anyone working with community radio organisations in Greater Manchester.
All delegates must register by emailing John Ryan, Managing Editor BBC Radio Manchester, at john.ryan@bbc.co.uk. In the event of oversubscription a waiting list will be made and further sessions run in the future.
