Film Festivals

Northwest Vision and Media offers awards to film festivals through the Audience Development category of the 2008/2009 Heritage, Access to Film and Audience Development Fund (HAFAD).

The aim of the Audience Development category (festivals) is to develop a sustainable and innovative program of annual festival events within the region that is unique, culturally diverse, educational and inclusive. The aim is to develop wider audiences, increase access and promote the Northwest as a centre of excellence for film, television and digital content.
