The Manchester Circuit Series, in association with MIDAS, are pleased to present 'Hollywood, London, Manchester? The development of a global media hub.'

Manchester is at the heart of the biggest media industry outside the capital and with the development of sites such as Mediacity:uk and the relocation of five key BBC departments, growth over the next decade is set to be even more prodigious.

Kip Meek is a board member of Ingenious Media and Chair of the Ingenious Consulting Network. Ingenious Media is a provider of media investment and advisory services. Kip is also Chair of the Broadband Stakeholder group, a group set up to advise the UK government on broadband issues. In addition to the above, Kip is also director of the RadioCentre, the body representing commercial radio in the UK. Prior to joining Ingenious, he was at Ofcom where he held a variety of responsibilities, including chairing the European Regulators group. Before joining Ofcom, he was Managing Director of Spectrum Strategy Consultants

Brian Greasley is the MD of Mediacity:uk and a Senior International Executive with a successful track record in the mobile media industry across 3 continents around the world. A proven CEO and Board level operator with the unique ability to create a strategic vision for companies and transfer this vision into operational plans that deliver compelling customer propositions. Key strengths include a highly developed sense of consumer needs and behaviour which have been critical in creating two of the most successful brands within the Mobile Media Industry: Genie and I-play. Established network platforms, retail distribution and strong manufacturing partnerships with blue chip suppliers. . Previous roles include CEO I-Play, Entrepreneur in Residence Apax, Managing Director Genie Internet.
