ICE 07

ICE 07
29 Nov - 02 Dec 2007

THE first festival of its kind in the UK, Ice 2007 is a multi-disciplinary event celebrating Icelandic culture in all its forms, and promises lots of fun for everyone.

A unique opportunity to enjoy all things Icelandic, the festival, which is part of Liverpool's year-long 800th birthday celebrations, will include a variety of things for people of all ages, from concerts by leading musicians and a series of Icelandic films to an exhibition of Icelandic photography and Icelandic cuisine by top chef Ragnar Omarsson at the Racquet Club on Chapel Street.

There is also a short story and art competition for children, and an exhibition of Icelandic designs in the Daily Post and Echo building on Old Hall Street… the perfect place to get some quirky presents just in time for Christmas.

The festival will bring an exciting roster of young Icelandic talent to the attention of the British public and give visitors the chance to sample the very best of Icelandic arts and culture. An event not to be missed!
