teamed
up
with
the
Liverpool
Arabic
Arts
Festival
and
The
British
Academy
of
Film
and
Television
Arts
to
celebrate
the
centenary
of
David
Lean’s
birth,
one of
the
academy’s
founding
members,
with
an
introduction
to the
screening
of his
seminal
award
winning
film.
Egyptian
actor
Omar
Sharif
gained
international
stardom
from
the
film,
which
he
considers
to be
one of
his
greatest.
The
Liverpool
Arabic
Arts
Festival
is
pleased

eminent
author
and
media
critic
Dr
Jack
Shaheen
is to
return
to
Liverpool
to
speak
at
this
Gala
Screening
of
Lawrence
of
Arabia.

tour
at
Liverpool
Arabic
Arts
Festival

which
features
an
impressive
selection
of
films
from
Syria,
Lebanon,
Egypt,
Iraq
and
Algeria.
