GOT INFECTIOUS IDEAS? MOVIE MOGUL FUND

MOVIE Mogul Fund is a democratic and merit based script production competition for microbudget movies. A virtual film studio with a unique twist – the selection power is entirely in the hands of the websites members.

One short film and one feature film will be voted into production every three monthly competition, creating unique opportunities and giving rise to a wealth of new UK talent and exciting movies.

Members get to play Movie Mogul and can build their own status, profile and portfolio within the new studio system. Budgets are derived from a fusion of industry sponsorship and membership fees.

The first script production competition begins on 1st September, and Movie Mogul Fund has launched a viral filmmaking competition, inviting new filmmakers to make a short advertisement (up to 1 minute max), based upon their interpretation of what the Movie Mogul Fund is truly about.

There are two prizes:
Audience prize - £1,000 cash will be awarded to the most popular film voted for by the websites members.
Jury prize – Movie Mogul will use the film they deem most appropriate as their official advert to promote online and at film festivals around the world.

The competition is open to anyone and free to play. Deadline for entrants is 30th September.
