The Accidental Leader programme aims to develop executives at director or CEO level within small and medium enterprises in the creative and digital industries in the region. 

This includes people who have started a TV, radio, games, publishing, creative, public relations or digital content business, which is at least 12 months old.

The programme will help you:

- Develop leadership skills
- Create efficient teams
- Go from being digital to top digital
- Network & collaborate with peers
- Grow your business

Applications for Film Funding Rounds 2009/2010 will close on Monday 15 March.

Funding is currently available to North West based companies and individuals for:

- Feature Film Development
- Seed Funding for Feature Films
- Freelancer Fund
- Short Film Completion
- Festival Bursaries (Cannes is just around the corner)

 COMMERCIALS EVENT

We are hosting an event to encourage London-based production companies to use the North West as a location for filming commercials.

The region has a strong commercials heritage, with companies including Warburtons, Nike, Pataks, Hovis  and T-Mobile all recently shooting here.

Attendees will hear about the diverse range of locations available across the North West region, the services offered by its five sub-regional film offices and the quality of its crew and facilities infrastructure.

The event takes place on Thursday 4 March.
