What would you say were the best bits about the Northern Routes Training Scheme and your placement?
Contributing to an actual production was an amazing feeling and I loved learning everything I could about the accounts and production department, as well as being out on set. I am thrilled to be working in an industry that genuinely interests me.

Would you recommend Northern Routes to other potential trainees (please give reasons)?
Yes definitely, I don’t think I would ever be working in the television industry and truly enjoying my job if it wasn’t for Northern Routes.

Please explain what you have gone on to do following Northern Routes:
I am currently working on a new drama for the BBC as an Assistant Production Accountant.

What do you hope to do in the future and how has Northern Routes helped you in working towards this goal?
I would love to stay in the industry and would perhaps like to work on a British film at some point. I would like to expand my knowledge of accounts and (in the very long term!) would explore the possibility of producing.
