Northwest Vision and Media Appoints New Communications Director
Northwest Vision and Media has hired Katrina Davis as their new Communications Director.
Katrina, 32, from Altrincham, was previously Head of Corporate Communications at Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service and joined Vision and Media at the end of November. She has over nine years of experience, both in-house and agency side, for organisations such as Bolton Wanderers Football Club, NCC Group plc and Unique Creative Communications.
Vision and Media Chief Executive, Alice Morrison, said: “We’re really excited to have Katrina on board and with so many exciting things going on in the industry, including the development of mediacity:uk, it’s a great time for her to join us. The Northwest has an incredibly strong media offering and a wealth of talent to shout about.
“Our job is to spot the opportunities for growth, promote the fantastic work done nationally, provide vital skills and training for the industry and make sure everyone knows how Vision and Media can help them. These elements will be a key part of Katrina’s role.”
Katrina says: “It’ll be my job to oversee Vision and Media’s corporate communications team, focusing on developing public affairs and media relations. My team will also be organizing events to raise the profile of Vision and Media, highlighting the vast amount of work the agency does across the region."
