Audience Development: Annual Programmes for Cinemas

The Audience Development: Annual Programmes fund is designed to support cinemas that run a year-round, culturally diverse film programme. Applications might be made jointly with other cinemas to ensure regional coverage.

Awards will be made from £5,000 to £110,000 and can cover festivals, film education programmes, themed events and special activities that might not form part of the existing annual programme.

To be eligible companies must:

· Be a legally constituted organisation with a written constitution or set of rules (not local authorities, schools, colleges or individuals).
· Operate from within the Northwest region of England (Cheshire, Cumbria, Greater Manchester, Lancashire and Merseyside).
· Have the necessary experience and track record to deliver projects that meet Vision and Media's objectives for this fund (see guidelines).
· Be able to secure a minimum of 30% match funding. (This only applies to projects which commence after 1st April 2008 and end by 31st March 2009.)
