Heritage, Access to Film and Audience Development

With UK cinema-goers becoming more adventurous in their cinema tastes, according to box office statistics, Vision and Media aims to offer audiences an even greater choice.

That’s why Vision and Media’s annual Heritage, Access to Film and Audience Development (HAFAD) programme has pledged over £300,000 in funding, and why it constantly looks for new, diverse organisations to help deliver the sort of films Northwest audiences now demand.

THE DEADLINE FOR APPLICATIONS TO THIS PROGRAMME HAS NOW PASSED.

Funding for 2010 onwards

The UK Film Council is currently developing a new three year plan, and work is well underway to draw together and present our future priorities and strategic objectives for the period from 2010-2013. That work will culminate in a consultation document later and shortly after it is anticipated that UKFC will publish its final policy and funding priorities.

Until this process is complete, Northwest Vision and Media will be unable to announce our annual Audience Development (Festivals and Annual Programmes), Screen Heritage and Film Education funds (previously known as HAFAD).

We hope that we will be in a position to launch the new funds early in 2010 in time for the new financial year.
