Micro Budget Digital Film

Our Digital Departures programme is moving into its final stage and will soon announce the three feature films that will be shot in 2008. We hope to continue this scheme each year giving opportunities to our burgeoning talent.

In addition we can support low budget features with our Merseyside Film and TV Fund, devised to support productions that will benefit the Merseyside region in terms of jobs, spend, and long-term development of the Merseyside film industry. To apply you should:

· Be a Merseyside-based production company or a UK production company co-producing with a Merseyside based production company.
· Be able to shoot an amount of the film in Merseyside and meet our expenditure requirements (you should expect to spend three times the investment in Merseyside).
· Have 75% of the budget secured.
· Provide evidence of distribution interest and sales estimates.

Investments can be made for up to 25% of the total production budget, a maximum of £250,000.
