What would you say were the best bits about the Northern Routes Training Scheme and your placement?
I got to work with a full professional crew on a production that will actually be broadcast. So you’re learning skills from people who are out there doing this for a living.

Yes, again because you get to work with a professional crew.

Please explain what you have gone on to do following Northern Routes:
I’ve worked on a short film as the sound recordist, working with the DOP and clapper loader from Spooks Code 9.

What do you hope to do in the future and how has Northern Routes helped you in working towards this goal?
I hope now to train up to become a first boom with the goal to move up to a sound recordist or perhaps look at moving into post-production sound.
