Shooting in the Sticks Film Production Training
Shoreline Films are offering a fantastic new training
opportunity to budding filmmakers in Cumbria.
Working
under the guidance of experienced industry professionals, 12
trainees will be recruited to take up crew placements on a choice
of 2 high quality film productions. Divided into 2 groups of 6,
trainees will have the chance to take part in the production of
either a short film or documentary.
This scheme will give 12 people from Cumbria the unique opportunity
to train on a real film set. Trainees will receive in-depth
training in their chosen area of one of 6 specialisms:
Production/Research
Direction
Production Design/Costume
Sound
Camera
Editing
Course Outline:
Introductory Workshop - Monday 25th September
‘Taster’ session in 6 specialisms - Wednesday 27th
September
Further training & filming over October/November 2006
including:
Training in specialism (2 days)
Pre- & post-production days
3 day film shoot
