which
was
announced
on 8
November
2007.
The
Technology
Strategy
Board's
Competition
for
Collaborative
Research
and
Development
Investment
in
Creative
Industries.
A
total
of
£10m
has
been
allocated
against
three
different
initiatives
to
support
and
promote
technology
inspired
innovation
in
Creative
Industry
companies.
The

briefing
event
on 23

will
enable
you to
find
out
more
about
each
of the
initiatives
for
the
Creative
Industries
sector;

Collaborative
R&D
–
Application
of
Digital
Technologies
- open
to UK
based
creative
companies
large
and
small
for
collaborative
project
proposals
to
develop
new
products,
services,
processes,
and
capability
and
business
models
to
exploit
digital
technologies.

Feasibility
Studies
-
offering
small
awards
to
SMEs
who
need
to buy
in
skills
and
resources
to
develop
initial
ideas
into
robust
propositions
to
secure
further
development
funding
·
Fast
Track
Projects
–
funding
for
smaller
shorter
collaborative
projects
targeted
at
SMEs
Potential
applicants
–
and
those
who
have
already
expressed
an
interest
–
will
have
the
chance
to
meet
and
discuss
with
the
Technology
Strategy
Board,
get
guidance
on how
to
apply,
attend
one-to-one
clinics
on
their
subject.
The
event
will
be
held
at
QEII
Conference
Centre,
Westminster,
London.
