That Antony Cotton Show
LET THEM EAT CAKE, SAYS ANTONY
WELL done to Coronation Street star, Antony
Cotton, who has been named as ITV1’s new tea-time chat show
host.
The newly-commissioned, That Antony Cotton Show will air
this summer for five weeks, with each episode lasting an
hour.
It’s being billed as a combination of celebrity chat and
topical humour, and will be filmed at Granada Studios in
Manchester. The good news for Corrie fans is that Antony
will also continue to appear as Sean Tully in the soap.
“The Coronation Street producers have been kind
enough to allow me to leave the cobbles earlier in the day to get
into the studio next door to make the show,” says Antony, who
admits he’s looking forward to the challenge.
“It's going to be gossipy, light-hearted, chatty and
irreverent but most of all fun, with lots of tea and cake,”
he adds.
That Antony Cotton Show is being made by ITV Productions
and will be series produced by Amanda Sangorski. The executive
producers are Mark Wells and Rachel Ashdown.
