TRUE DARE KISS DEBUTS WITH TOP RATINGS

DEBBIE Horsfield’s new six-part drama, True Dare Kiss, made its debut on BBC 1 on Thursday 28 June with an impressive 4.4 million viewers, comfortably claiming top spot in the ratings.

The Greater Manchester Film Office, one of five film offices run by Northwest Vision + Media, helped the production facilitate their location filming. “They filmed for four months, mainly around Manchester and Trafford,” says Susan Williams, the Film Liaison Officer who along with colleague, Bobby Cochrane were kept quite busy by the location team.

Susan was among the millions who tuned in to watch this dark comedy, which centres around a factious group of siblings brought together by the death of their father. She wasn’t disappointed with the result, although she admits she was a little pre-occupied looking out for Manchester locations.

“If I wasn’t trying to work out which scenes were filmed where, I was trying to work out what this big dark secret was that all the main characters kept hinting about. I reckon it’s a dead body, but I guess I’ll have to watch the next five episodes to find out, just like everyone else!” she says.
