Northern Film Network
An information service for filmmakers primarily based in the Northwest of England. Filmmakers can keep up to date with information and opportunities via the weekly E-Bulletin. NFN is supported by Northwest Vision and Media, UK Film Council and the International Media Centre at Salford University.

CDNN - Cultural Diversity Network North
Cultural Divversity Network North exists to ensure support for a diverse workforce behind the camera and onscreen. Studies show that those from Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) backgrounds are currently under-represented in the Northwest media industries. CDNN is making a conscious effort to try and level the playing field by sharing good practice, making members aware of barriers and also by targeting and providing skills to those people who may not usually have the chance.

CIDS - Creative Industries Development Service
The Creative Industries Development Service (CIDS) works to help new and established creative businesses in Greater Manchester, whilst also taking a strategic overview of the sector – developing projects in response to industry needs. CIDS is a non-profit making limited company funded by the European Regional Development Fund, the Northwest Development Agency, Manchester City Council and other regional partners.

New film trailers and latest films at the cinema
myfilms.com is supported by the UK Film Council and funded through the National Lottery. The site is part of a major UK Film Council initiative to increase the viewing of non-mainstream films at the cinema by tackling the three main barriers: access, awareness and information.

Crispthinking
The Creative Industries Support Porject, CRISP, is a free service to help creative businesses in Cheshire and Warrington achieve growth through skills development. CRISP also provides help to colleges and schools in guiding their students towards creative careers and helping them understand the skills creative businesses need.
