Vision+Media employee, Cory Bryant, is celebrating this week after hearing the news that he is one of the elite few to be shortlisted for the PA of the Year Awards 2010.
The PA of the Year Awards, in association with Five Star Scanner Appeal and The Manchester Law Society, aims to accentuate all PA’s from across Greater Manchester, looking for the finest talent in 2010. The winner will receive a world class Spa trip to Malta.
20 year old Cory is PA to not one, but two of Vision+Media’s executive board, namely Paul Taylor, Director of Business Delivery and Lynne McCadden, Director of Skills and New Projects.
Cory said: “I feel very privileged to be nominated for the award, the news that I’d been shortlisted was a shock but also a great confidence boost for me. I’d like to thank my colleagues who submitted the nomination, and I look forward to the next stages of the process.”
The awards organisers said: “The role of the PA complements and strengthens any organisation; we feel the importance of them to get something back. This event is taking the opportunity to recognise and reward excellence for all PA’s and their high achievements within the companies they work for.
“PA's organise business travel, book conferences, schedule meetings, assist HR and overall provide essential back up to their employer. This event is taking the opportunity to reward the important role PA’s play within a company. In addition to all the professional requirements, high level and aspiring PA’s must have excellent communication skills, be diplomatic, maintain a high degree of professionalism at all times, and above all be able to deliver results. Today’s PA’s are a real asset to any organisation.”
The winner will be announced at a Champagne reception on Thursday 7th October 2010, good luck Cory!
