Imagine the Future of Learning

About innov8

innov8 is an Open Innovation competition that aims to engage learners, educators, designers and developers, technology enthusiasts, games creators, innovators and anyone with an interest in ensuring that technology is used in new and exciting ways to engage, inspire learners.

innov8 is interested in ideas that can take learning into new places and spaces and engage learners in new ways. Five innov8 finalists will win £1,000 to work up their idea into a pitch and then the final winner will win an additional £5,000. The five finalists will include at least one idea from a young person or group of young people working together. To ensure that the judging panel is responsive to young people’s priorities and ideas, the panel will include young people as well as experts from across the learning technology space.

Entering innov8 is straightforward. We are interested in great ideas about the future of learning, not products ready for use today. innov8 is a chance to imagine the future of learning and then work in partnership with Pearson, the worlds leading learning company, to see your idea become reality.

innov8 is driven by Pearson’s desire to support innovation in learning, open up new spaces for collaboration and to explore a range of potential new partnership working opportunities.
