Those at the Vision and Media table on Saturday agreed it was a fantastic night at the RTS awards - companies with us were Shipley solicitors, Lion Eyes, Milky Tea, Glasshead, Jellylegs, Impossible Kids and Mocha TV.
Congratulations to north west companies being recognised for their achievements at this year's awards.
Red scooped two awards for 'Worried About the Boy' - Best Single Drama or series and best performer (Douglas Booth as Boy George).
Company Pictures also won a best performer award for Ciaran Griffiths performance in continuing drama 'Shameless'
Milky Tea's Lizzie, from our table was delighted to hear of the Conker Media award for Best kids programme for 'The Well' - Milky Tea got a mention for their collaboration in the project.
Congratulations too to Sarah Murch and the team at Blakeway North for best current affairs programme for 'Future of Food'
Congratulations and thanks to Richard Macer at Platform for mentioning Vision and Media's role in getting 'Behind the Scenes at the Museum' off the ground - Platform picked up the award in the best factual programme category.
Cat Lewis and the Nine Lives team were on stage twice, picking up awards for terrific shows 'Small Teen, Big World' and for 'A History of the World - a tale of two cities' (best single doc and best low budget programme respectively).
Excellent also to see Ann McManus (Shed) pick up the award for best script writer for 'Waterloo Road', Sum Creative for best post production for 'I'm in a Rock n Roll band'.
John Bishop thanking the room for the award via his mobile phone from the motorway was brilliant - 'John Bishop's Britain' picking up best comedy programme award.
ITV and BBC in house did well on the night also and Coronation Street picked up best continuing drama as well as receiving the accolade, via Tony Warren, in the year of its 50th birthday.
Congratulations also to Rachel and the RTS team and the Hilton for putting on such a great event.
